A Glimpse of Our Future
A Glimpse of Our Bleak Future
"The once heavenly land called Earth, now houses wrath!"
Says the lone, wise gnat.
It dwells in our future,
This sad little creature of mortal misfeature.
"The earth has no living being,
Long ago it was thriving.
The earth now is like a rested broth,
Still and useless like a sloth."
"Envy bites, but does not swallow,
Earth is now completely hollow.
Pride in its beauty, it once had,
It was like a knight in iron clad."
"Gluttony of its beings have caused this!
Earth was slayed with the spear of ignorance's bliss.
The being's mind is another story,
One scary and gory."
"Their mind has no emotion
For this commotion.
Happiness and wit in the mind of the educated and hick,
Are replaced with gluttony and a skull very thick."
"Their mind is like an oasis of gluttony,
The vast dunes blow winds of indignity.
The earth continues to uncontrollably hurl,
Making man into a surly churl."
"The end of the earth is nearly here,
The crust is breaking open with earth's tear.
The sky and ground is dying,
The only sight is of the deceased creatures lying."
The earth is ending,
Which leaves time bending.
The universe is in state of shock,
The earth travels to where the sun sails and the moon walks.
