Old Mistakes
Old Mistakes Man says he learns from his mistakes, Then why are all of them so similar and many, He doesn't learn, he shakes, He shakes them off, that's why they're so uncanny. Man accepts the dove but chases the crow, For it appeals him better. This is how the boat of bigotry begins to row, Tainting the stream of creation to its letter. He says,"Hark not to such lies!" Reality and truth weep and weep, As their existence is being eaten by ignorance's mice, Unknowingly, little by little man takes his xenophobic leap. We look at it as an enigma, As if it has no answer, For this we have no dogma, But only rationality and removal of society's cancer! -By Varun Dass
